Hi! My name is Christina Armstead and I have been a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant here at Tideway Physical Therapy Outpatient clinic and part time at UTMB’s Galveston Hospital for a little over a year. I attended UTMB’s Respiratory Care Program, received my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Houston and was accepted into the Physical Therapist Assistant program at San Jacinto College here in Texas.

My passion in life has always been in helping others but it wasn’t until my mother fractured her ankle when I was a kid and I attended her PT treatments and when my father had cancer cell removal and aiding in his wound care that I honed in on healthcare, in specific physical therapy. I have a passion for learning and improving my skill set as a PTA as I plan on pursuing continuing education/certifications to enhance my practice and knowledge base to further benefit my patients.
